Sibok Addie Miller
2nd Degree Black Belt
At the age of three, I watched my older brother start karate while sitting on my grandma’s lap. I eagerly waited until I turned five to begin my own training. By the time I was seven, I appeared on the Steve Harvey show and demonstrated Ki Do Kai Kempo moves.
I have been actively teaching and participating in the karate system since I was about eleven years old. I earned my black belt in 2022 after spending the entire summer training and teaching. The following year, in 2023, I tried out for the USA martial arts team and traveled to Daytona Beach, Florida, where I won a gold medal, a silver medal, and three bronze medals. The next year, our team went to Georgia to compete for the USA team.
November 2025, we traveled to Norway for another competition, where I won two gold medals, four silver medals, and two bronze medals.
Before the second USA competition, my Grandmaster, Patrick McDaniel, sadly passed away, which left me in charge of the dojo. With the support of my family and friends, we have managed to keep it open and running, ensuring that Mr. Pat's legacy lives on.
